Dear Shuba,
I know this will be a busy time for the hotel but I am sure you won't mind a short thank-you note from a happy guest!
My family and I, by unanimous agreement, have just had one of our best holidays in years - and we are a fairly well travelled crew. Our stay at Bonchurch Manor was a joy from start to finish and while it would be hard for any visitor not to enjoy the delights of the Isle of Wight, it was our 'base camp' that really made the holiday for us. So much so that on some mornings it was very hard to coax the children away from playing with your daughters or exploring the grounds!
As you know, I have run a large university department of hospitality and tourism management and my work within the industry means that I am always on duty when I travel and rarely leave any stay without a long list of things I would change. At times these can be quite fundamental aspects of the business, however, I was more than pleased at my experience of the Bonchurch Manor - all the basics were absolutely right! The hotel was clean, the environment was safe, especially for my children, the rooms were a pleasure, and top of the list, the food was absolutely outstanding - it would put many a four star hotel to shame. But more than this, the attitude of staff and the general atmosphere was warm, friendly and relaxing - it would be hard to imagine any guest feeling uncomfortable at the hotel. I can certainly imagine them feeling, as we did, that the hotel offers exceptional value! I know you have ambitious aspirations to upgrade and improve the hotel and I am sure you will achieve them; you have certainly laid the right foundations for this and believe me - we shall all be back!
Yours sincerely
